Shantanu Kumar Singh?is Executive Director and chief financial officer of Taj Pharmaceuticals Company. He was elected executive of the company?s board effective June 2014.
A Pharma veteran for more than 10 years, Singh served as Banker of Morgan Stanley from 2011 to 2012. Previously, he was leading marketing of Taj Pharma Russia and CIS, the company?s largest affiliate, from 2009 to 2012. He served as Sales Director and general manager of Taj Active Pharmaceuticals Ingredients, operating in one of the India?s fastest-growing emerging markets, from 2012 to 2014. And he was general manager of Taj Pharma MENA from 2009 to 2010, after roles as director of pharmaceutical marketing and national sales director in that country. Shantanu Singh joined Taj Pharma in 2008 as a business development associate and held several management roles in Indian marketing and sales before moving to Taj Pharma CIS division in Moscow, Russia.
Shantanu Singh earned a bachelor of arts degree from Durham University and a master of business administration and finance degree from Durham University; Singh further holds a degree in Pharmaceuticals Management from INSEAD, France.
Shantanu Singh is president of the Local Manufacturers & Associations (LMA). He serves as board member of the board of Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of India (PRMI). Singh is also on the boards of the Central Indiana Corporate Partnership. He chairs the Indian Children?s Foundation.
